Again, I'll have a full breakdown posted either Sunday or Monday, including all conferences, but here's where the ACC stands.
Records are only conference records.
Atlantic
-FSU (6-0) clinches with either a win or Clemson loss.
-Clemson (6-1) needs 2 FSU losses.
Since FSU's worst possible record is 6-2, any team with 3 or more losses is out, which is every other team in the Atlantic.
Coastal
-Duke (4-1) controls destiny.
-GT (5-2) needs 2 Duke losses.
-Miami (3-2) needs a GT loss and a Duke loss.
-UNC (2-3) needs 2 Miami losses and a GT loss.
UVA and VT are officially out with 4 losses each.
Pitt (2-3) is out, because they wouldn't win any tiebreakers. They would have to be tied at least with GT.
Pitt and UNC play against each other next week. Looking just at win/loss, the loser would be out with 4 losses. If GT wins, both teams are out. (GT would be 6-2, so the Coastal champ can't have more than 2 losses.)

All I needed to hear
I just DO NOT want da U to go to the ACC Title game. Ever.
They're going to need some help. I doubt they can beat FSU, so that's one more loss that has to be overcome.
I guess we could add to the #CoastalChaos if we beat Duke. That would make the UNC-Duke game an interesting match-up provided that the requisite chips fall into place, which probably won't happen.
If we beat Duke, FSU beats Miami, and Clemson beats GT to set it up...
If Duke wins, they would take the division, with best record at 6-2.
If UNC wins, it sets up a 4 way tie, where Miami wins. UNC and Miami would be 2-1 in group and Duke and GT would be 1-2. Miami beat UNC.
That's it. No more scenarios until after GT plays Clemson.
Ugh the coastal sent the state of Virginia to the kids table to bicker and throw peas and mashed potatoes at each other over thanksgiving.
At least we will get to fight over the wishbone! I am guessing we are both 5-6 heading into thar game
Which means that we'll both be fighting over getting to a bowl game, not just The Commonwealth Cup. It may be meaningless to everyone else, but there will be major pride on the line.
@Jander
Their miami game could go either way. But the way da U and they're playing right now, I give da U a slight edge.
I'm guessing we'll be 5-6 with a loss to Duke and a win over Wake, and I think LOLUVA will lose to Miami to enter the game 4-7.
Obviously I'm hoping to beat Duke, but I'll take a Miami win over LOLUVA in every single year ever unless a LOLUVA victory would help us achieve a coastal championship (aka not this year).
Or if the UVA win totally embarrasses Miami in their final game at their old stadium.
Nah, we pull the upset @ Duke, and bowl qualify at Wake. Then we come home to rub the hoo's noses in a 7-5 record.
We can't win it but hopefully we can at least make it hell for everyone else trying to figure out who gets to go.
I think the wheels fell off the coastal a long time ago.
Goddamn Georgia Tech, ruining Coastalpocalypse for all of us.
