VT vs. Duke Online Viewing Question

I typically watch every Hokies game in person or from my couch in Raleigh, NC, so I'm not too familiar with availability of watching VT games online.

I will find myself in Richmond, VA this weekend and I wanted to know if anyone can confirm if the VT/Duke game will be available via the Watch ESPN app or ESPN 3. Anyone do this sort of thing regularly and know?

I see the game is broadcast on ESPNU, but I didn't know if it was subject to blackout restrictions or anything like that...

Thanks!

I don't believe there is a local blackout for games on ESPNU.

I will be in Richmond this weekend as well (gf is running in the Richmond 1/2 Marathon), but we are going to find a local bar to catch the game after the race. I will need to be around a lot of beer.

That's the reason I will be in Richmond as well, ha. However, my brother lives there and doesn't have cable so I'm interested in watching at his place on Watch ESPN or something. The other option is finding a bar or something, I'm sure I won't be missing the game either way!

There are plenty of Buffalo Wild Wings scattered around Richmond plus the other local sports bars so you fellas should not have much of an issue.

Haha...I will be in Richmond this weekend also. (mine reason is a soccer tournament)

I will be attempting to watch the game on my Watch ESPN app...I won't be near a TV until later in the afternoon.

Oh nice. I will just be on the sideline cheering people on.

I know that the Richmond Alumni Club has a deal with local BW3s, but their are too many good local breweries and bars to not go to one of them.

Yeah, I force myself to go to. bWw every now and then to remember why I don't like the place.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

The last time I went to BDubs was to watch the Russell Athletic Bowl. So...maybe they do have those overtime buttons.

If you receive an ESPN channel as part of your cable package, you get it on WatchESPN. the only exception I've seen is that NFL games don't stream live on phones.

Blackouts only apply to ESPN3 games, and usually only ones that air on tv as part of a regional or syndicated deal, like ACC Network.

Duke getting screwed over by the rankings. I can't understand how they're 21. How the f** is Clemson ahead of them?

OOC scheduling... same with Baylor, who beat TCU but is ranked a few places behind them

Baylor's 14-point loss to now 6-4 WVU probably had something to do with their ranking also.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?
