So while the treadmill is no longer part of this diagnostic test, the horse on a treadmill will live on in Hokie lore forever.

Ah, yes. I can now say, without regret, that in my day we ran on treadmills. And we liked it.

The horse on the treadmill is arguably the best VT football tradition. Our team may be the most inconsistent on the planet, but horse on a treadmill always excels

One horse: $2,000 (which is no doubt a low estimate)
One treadmill: $1,500 (again, a low estimate)
A Horse on a Treadmill: Priceless

I am humbled by this. Only VT has this fantastic example of innovative thought.
