Congrats on your family addition! I don't know if she is your first or not, but I have one piece of advice for you. Take pictures. Lots of pictures. Constantly take pictures. Take ten times as many pictures as you think is a lot. Also, find a local photographer and have them do about four casual settings with you guys annually until she turns about six years old.
You'll be glad you did. Even by her first birthday, you'll be thankful. Enjoy your new little girl, such a great treasure!

Thanks! Great advice on the pictures, too. She's our second so we already know how important that is, you really can't have too many. Good news is we've been going back to our wedding photographer for family pictures ever since we had the first one, which we'll continue to do. I am at least somewhat competent with a camera but there's no substitute for a professional, that's for sure. Anyway, thanks for the kind words!
You already knew, great! Just as you're doing the exactly right thing. Take all your 'Around the house' pictures you can, and then you've got your pro photographer to do some really neat stuff on a regular basis. Good deal!
