#TEAMPIE!! Greetings from Atlantic city!!
Happy 3.14159 Day!
I have already ordered a homemade Apple Pie from ChicknLittle in Abingdon. Boom!
I'm not sure that is what "homemade" means.
I do applaud your choice of pie, though.
Made from scratch fresh ingredients
You know what's a great meal to have before pie?
Steak.
Very appropriate meal for today, considering March 14th is also another holiday...
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/03/13/saturday-is-steak-and-b...
Uh, yeah. That was what I was going for.
Yup, had nice NY strip for dinner.
Pie for desert and the appropriate members of the family were informed of the holiday this AM.
Hey, Black Sails I'd on tonight.
I had a nice NY strip with an espresso rub that the owner of Palisades gave me while I was there celebrating my birthday recently. No pi, but since its the most represented ratio in the universe, I think it's ok.
Oh yeah! 3/14/15 at 9:26 and 53 seconds!
Haha, well done. I wasn't confident enough to get the 53 seconds
Counterpoint: Googled pi and got:
3.14159265359
I think we'd all agree that 3.1415 is the date (3/14/15)
But I'd contend that .00009265359 is a fraction of a day. Since the date is already accounted for by the first five significant digits, the remaining digits should represent the fraction of the day that should pass before the actual 'pi time'. This would be 92.65359% of the way through the calendar date, that would mean:
24 hours x 60 min/hr x 60 sec/min = 86,400 seconds in a day
86400 x .92653659 = 80052.70176 seconds into March 14th, 2015 is the pi time
80052.70176 / 60 sec/min = 1334.211696 minutes into March 14th...
1334.211696 / 60 min/hr = 22.2368616 hours into March 14th
So I'm proposing 10:14:13 PM on March 14th, 2015 is pi time
First I was like:

But then I was like:

3.1415926
3/14/15 9:26!
Baltimore bomb to start the day!
Calendar dates are arbitrary constructions
#teamcake
but pi(e) occurs throughout the universe. Does cake?
Pie demonstrates universal dominance.
Had a French Silk made by my wife to celebrate. Fantaburific!
Happy PI day plus one. My daughter was born yesterday at 2:10 PM. So we are team pie for life. Even at her birthday parties.
Congrats!
Ohhh burn. No cakes at birthday parties. She may be the best-raised child out there.
Congrats.
Made two brown sugar pies yesterday but they are so much better the next day!! Thanks to French for the great recipe!
I had birthday cake on Saturday. Suck on that!
Pi is irrational, #teamcake
Counterpoint: pi(e) goes on forever. #teampie
Counter-counterpoint: So you're saying that no one ever finishes pi(e)?
Only because the supply is never-ending. It's math.
If the supply is so great, then there's obviously a lack of demand...though for someone like you that enjoys pie, high supply and low demand is a good thing since that would mean that pie is cheaper. #Ecconomics
Ah my cake-loving friend, but never-ending and ever-increasing are not the same. Pi(e) goes on forever because the demand is continual.
Excellent banter!
This banter is pi, because it's continuous and never-ending.
Always leave half for someone else.
