Per Jimmy Robertson at Hokiesports.com, the first-team defense and the second-team offense will comprise "Team Pylon," while the first-team offense and second-team defense will be "Team Medal of Honor." There should be lots of 1's vs 1's action. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

I am so happy they aren't mixing the squads up this year. Let them play good vs good. I feel like it allows you to better gauge where guys are at if they are playing with the guys they would normally be playing along side.
Now we just need them to get the game in.
Fair warning now French and I hate to be a Debbie downer but its looking like were getting some rain, don't think its gonna be to much convective stuff in the early afternoon so not as much thunder but you might be watching in the rain. I'll have a blurb out this evening
Yes... I am watching the forecast closely. I am heading to Abingdon tonight, and if the weather goes to crap I will watch from down there.
Literally a "fair-weather fan"??
Unfortunately yes in this case. After 3 weeks of being sick, I don't need pneumonia.
Aww come on....it'll put hair on your chest...
HA! A fair-health fan too? Typical.
Is it on ESPN3?
yep, INTERWEB football
makes my job a little harder. I blame dorian porch.
So Team Medal of Honor will be playing with only one defensive end, then?
It will be interesting who gets put in especially if Dooley is out. Keihn and Mihota?
I am willing to bet the first team D will have Dadi-Mihota and the second team DE will be Keihn and Jeremy Haynes.
everyone calls for 1 on 1s and then when the score is 10-7 at the end of the spring game we all go into panic mode about our offense. I feel like 1s on 1s is lose lose from a fan perspective. but for players allows them to get better. just don't want to see a bunch of here we go again post on sunday morning. with that being said I hate how some of the other teams do it. FSU spring game ends up being like 59-47 they get points for 1st downs and completions and all kinds of crap. looks good on the score board but what is it really saying.
It's not a lose-lose when you have TKP! No matter the score I expect we will get lots of fantastic analysis that my feeble football mind didn't notice.
Now that it has been announced that it is one's versus's one's, I really want the offense to win that matchup. Chances are they are going to playing against one of the best defenses they will see all year. I want our second team defense to at least be even with the second team offense.
Considering how deep we are at DT and how many issues the second string OL have had, Team Pylon might be in for a long day.
