The more correct statement would be Bud kept the offense in check pretty well last year, Thomas on the other hand had his best rushing day on the year and made some pretty clutch passes down the stretch.

The Yellow Jackets hit the reset button with all their skill players, but Thomas returns, along with four starters on the offensive line. That might be enough for a team that never seems to have a shortage of running backs capable of taking over.
I wouldn't rule out the skill player effect. CPJ's offense relies a lot on blocking correctly all over the field. If Foster can confuse the new kids a little, that could really be critical for us.
But damn we don't play them until Nov 12. By then they'll probably have it together. Preparing for Bud's defense is like preparing for GT's offense, though, we'll be a new challenge for them whenever they see us first.

Oh he was clutch, no question about that. I do not look forward to playing that dude the next couple years.
