After the shit show that was yesterday's CJ Reavis news, I thought we could use a little pick me up. The watch list for the 2015 Bronco Nagurski Trophy, awarded to the nation's best defensive player each season, was released yesterday.
You can see the entire list here.
When you see said list, you will notice VT has five players on it. Kendall Fuller makes the cut because, Fuller. And in addition to that, every projected starter on the D line.
There are several schools to have multiple players on the watch list, but an entire D line making the cut is something special. I know there is another thread about us having 5 players on the lost, but I think it's worth discussing, how rare a thing is it for an entire unit to make the watch list?

Andy Bitter wrote that the only other team to have 5 players on the list is Ohio State. I don't know if they have an entire unit (I doubt it) but that should make for an interesting subplot on 9/7
From OSU: LB Joshua Perry, LB Darron Lee, DE Joey Bosa, DT Adolphus Washington, S Vonn Bell.
So no entire units.

Gone be a nice battle for the lunch pail this year...
good to see someone else is recognizing our talent up there. Sometimes I worry I'm just wearing orange and maroon colored glasses
Having two ends that could easily break the 10 sack plateau is scary
