Nooooooo! I'm so confused! Still and all, I do think bacon potato and cheese go better together than bacon and cake, but I'd have to have a hefty slice of each and every one of them to really be able to be objective. I will give you a leg for the illustrations. Now that I think of it, though, I had a great maple/bacon doughnut in Gloucester, and I do like bacon with a sweet roll and eggs, man...is it possible that #teambacon trumps cake or pie?

A slice of bacon pie and a couple eggs would make a fine breakfast.
Cut slim slices and put it in a tortilla with some egg, salsa and hot sauce for a handheld might make a goos breakfast burrito for a tailgate.

Do people like John Oliver? I'm legitimately curious because I feel like his segments are a toss up between legitimately valuable reporting mixed with satire and random ranting about something that does absolutely nothing.
Segment on things like net neutrality? Awesome!
Segment on a random otter mascot in Japan? Weird.

Sure it's weird. But it's also hysterical. Just watch this nonsense from Chiitan. I was on the verge of tears from laughter. And yea the creation of Chiijohn is super weird. But also very entertaining

According to culinary historians, the first historic record of cookies was their use as test cakes. A small amount of cake batter was baked to test the oven temperature.
7th Century A.D. β The earliest cookie-style cakes are thought to date back to 7th century Persia A.D. (now Iran), one of the first countries to cultivate sugar

I think I gained 5 pounds just looking at that monstrosity.
Debate over. #TeamPie.

We are the hokies
We are Virginia Tech
We are all #teambacon
Not sure how it's a cake and not a square pie.
EDIT: I'd argue that the bacon pie isnt a pie either, more like a casserole.
You know what would go great with some bacon pie? Ice cream.
#TeamIceCream
CHECKMATE #TeamPie
I had bacon on my Duck Donuts donut the other day. It was surprisingly good
Oh yeah. I think maple bacon Duck Donuts are the best donuts i've ever had.

Meh, still a distant second to #teamicecream!
Team Pie adding HBO talent.

Agreed. that Chiitan segment was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time

For me, this was the best moment on the show so far
When I saw this during the episode this week, I immediately knew it would end up on TKP
Thanks for not letting me down!
lol, when I saw it, I knew if no one beat me to it, I had to work it in somewhere!
I am taking this to mean that someone who writes for that show reads TKP. There is no other explanation on why cake vs pie got written in.
I did have some bacon maple rum doughnuts this past weekend that were phenomenal and almost succeeding in converting me to Team Doughnut.
Where?
Sounds interesting....
Are we talking Sugar Shack? Cause I had one at Sugar Shack last week.
Duck Donuts Bacon Maple are to die for!
Damn, I've only been on this site for a couple of years, so I missed this original post. I've been #teampie since day 1, and this solidifies that!
Lots of places have Maple Bacon Cupcakes

CHEESE ON PIE?

Related. I turned 41 on Thursday. My "cake" was a cherry pie with candles on it. Don't talk about it. Be about it.
apple pie with cheddar in the crust is actually pretty good and i'm not a big fan of apple pie
When did cookies become an option?
History of the Cookie
Ok it's still just a really old cake for strawberry shortcake! I need to get a job!
