In a bit of a surprise to me, Tennessee transfer Nathan Peterman is getting first team reps over last year's starting QB Chad Voytik at Pitt.
According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette writer Sam Werner, Peterman, who played the entire second half in a less than impressive win against Akron last week, got all the first team reps during the 30 minute window that practice was open to the media today.
Given James Conner is out with an injury and how Voytik's running ability gave the Hokies trouble last season, this is a story to watch. The Hokies open their ACC schedule against Pitt on October 3rd.
