To the TKP Community,
I humbly apologize for my lack of Tact at expressing my excitement about a new coach coming in at the end of this year. While I am still extremely excited I certainly could have written it better and less accusatory towards Frank. I do respect him as a coach and what he has done for our school but also feel he should have hung up his clipboard a few years ago. I was way out of line and often forget (despite constant reminders from my wife) that while my skin is bulletproof most people did not have a similar upbringing (retired Navy Diver and EOD Tech, raised by a sailor, still work with Sailors, not an excuse just a couple of random facts). That being said please feel free to berate, yell, insult, whatever floats your boat towards me, I can take it. Also Joe feel free to delete this thread if you find it a waste of bandwidth and I will accept any punishment you see fit. I will make every effort to be more tactful in all future postings on this website.

As someone who has also made unsavory comments on TKP, our passion for VT (and probably alcohol) gets the better of us sometimes. Own up to it like you did and we move on. #HokiesAreFamily

Didn't see the offending thread, but thought this would be an apropos punishment, given the timing.
I thought we only did that if the person was a key player and we didn't have a backup...
I think it's an appropriate symbolic thing in this instance. Perhaps we should make it a policy statement and put it in the front page of the TKP manual.

I mean... not to pile on, cause this is the interwebz, and nothing should be taken personally in here, but part of your apology was that you are sorry because some people are not as tough as you are.

Yeah I guess I could have written that better too (common theme amirite). I meant it more as I live and work in an environment where I get ripped on and rip on people all day so nothing really bothers me. Only time I can ever remember getting upset about an interweb posting was when some Miami fan on the old espin message boards started going on about how we deserved 2007 mass shooting. That was definitely a day I got banned for awhile...
Oh I remember that day on ESPN... I think I lost my shit at the guy as well.
That individual and the wvu trolls were the absolute worst.
I actually had a good laugh at you because it was pretty apparent you were drunk.
Mix in the euphoria of seeing his Raiders actually dominating someone at football and you get a recipe for disaster.
May your punishment be eternal damnation in Hell, confined to watching a TV that only shows the ESPN pregame show of VT's eventual National Championship. May you always know that it might happen, but never find out if it does.
