Thanks for posting this. Gotta show the wife (Iowa alum). She'll get a kick out of it. And since the Hawkeyes are my adopted second team, gotta say "Go Hawks!"

lol...the SEC has like 3 or 4 good teams. Just like all the other conferences. The ACC really only has 2 good teams but top to bottom the SEC is not head and shoulders above anyone

I'm going to disagree. The SEC west, despite their performances in one game scenarios, is unlike any other division year in and year out. Throw in a cross division game with Florida or Georgia every year and that schedule is incredibly unfair. The talent disparity between playing a WF, Syracuse, Duke, Pitt, NCSU week in and week out is light years from playing Tennessee, Florida, Miss St, Ole Miss, TAMU, Georgia, and thats not even including LSU and Alabama.

I didn't say the SEC West was a bad division. I said the league has 3 or 4 good teams (LSU, Bama, Florida, Ole Miss) and that the rest of the league isn't head and shoulders better than anybody else. If you look at their conference as a whole they still have teams like Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Auburn, Arkansas, South Carolina, Missouri and Tennessee which are mediocre football teams. I am not saying that the SEC is a bad league; the league is good but it's also way over-hyped. A majority of the SEC teams would struggle to win any of the other conferences but the general perception is that every single team from the SEC could clean house in any conference not called the SEC. That's just plain ignorant.

you could make an argument for Ole Miss. I qualified the statement by saying there are 3 or 4 good teams and I listed Ole Miss last in my list. I agree with you that they may not be as tough as the other 3 but for the sake of argument I thought it would be fair to list at least half as many good teams as crap teams.

That's the thing the SC doesn't play week in and week out games against the best. People overlook the weak teams in the SEC and the often week OOC schedule they play.

As our friends from ElevenWarriors and EDSBS can atest, Iowa fans are known for one thing, drinking more than should be humanly possible. Their is a toy blender in the background. This checks out.
(Also, whoever planned, measured, cut, and installed that framing so it would run into the electrical outlet cover like that should have their tools taken away.)

Priceless
As someone with Iowa alums in the family (random but true), this is so very accurate.
Brilliant
The bit about SEC fans not understanding... except for Vanderbilt. Got em
As an Iowa fan, Go Hawks! At least we can all agree on our dislike for SEC bias. Might be time to have that talk with my 7 year old son tomorrow.
Jordyn Shipley?

To be fair Tennessee was one of the worst teams in the SEC last year and could have beaten Iowa by 80 if they didnt take their foot off the gas.
Also not all fans of SEC schools are SEC fans. I hope everyone in the SEC loses every week outside of Tennessee.
j/k
To be fair, you guys still think no one outside the SEC deserves to play a snap on an NCAA football field.
Truth hurts

Clearly Ole Miss which beat Bama would beat anyone they played from any other conference!!!

eh..Ole Miss is a stretch. Lost to Memphis and Arkansas. Bama, LSU, and Fla are definitely solid though.

Oh, now that's hilarious!
"...like Nebraska's relevance"?
