Patterson is a 3* WR prospect from Bayside in Virginia Beach.

Yikes. The DEs, OLinemen, and WRs are the players we can least afford to lose from this class.

We knew this would happen. I'm confident the overall outcome will outweigh the recruiting losses
The new coach will have 4 and 5 stars follow him and the campus and talent already there will just help even more. If 3 stars want to leave it's on them but 3 and below may not be as sought after by the new staff...at least that's what I will lie to myself with so I do not get upset!
Not surprising since the coaches he committed to aren't guaranteed to be here next season. Some players commit to coaches, some commit to the school as a whole.
Still a chance the new staff re-recruits him.

I agree. Don't come running back if we hire a badass coach. I'm kidding, hopefully he does come back. Hopefully if we hit a home run with this hire, we can get some good recruits to come on board.
Yep, there's still a chance. He's just being cautious, can't blame him for that. If he committed I'm assuming he liked other things about our program besides Frank, so as long as we make an awesome hire he should at least still be interested.

No surprise here, we will likely loose some more but the reverse is also true, we will likely pick up some recruiticorns from the school our new coach is coming from
I do wish the new coach will be decided as quickly as possible after Nov 28th, we need to get a quick handle on this moving forward.
Not a real surprise or anything to panic over. Our current recruits and our new coaches' recruiting classes will have different goals.
