Ya'll - we've already seen some decommits, and will probably see more from the 2016 recruiting class. We will also undoubtedly see attrition from our current roster when the new staff evaluates the depth chart. Joe tweeted, partially sarcastically, something like how we will have 50 available scholarships in 2017 during the game last night. But he has a point..
With that, which potential coaching name out there would provide the most immediate impact to the 2016 class?
Are there any names out there have committed players that would follow the new coach to VT?
The only reasonable chance of this happening, to me, appears to be Richt or Fedora with Fedora being closer to home, in the ACC, and with potential NCAA sanctions on the horizon.
Just a thought. This is an added dimension of the next hire that I thought was interesting to consider. Who helps VT get better players now?
