The game kinda overshadows this, but the fact that Whit was able to hire Fuente and retain Bud before any of the coaching madness happens next week is AMAZING!!!!!!!

At first, I thought Whit was underselling VT by not waiting to see if they could land a top-tier coach (Richt, Miles, Herman, Kelly). But, I'm coming to realize it will be a coaches market. Thus, it's best for VT to get the ink on paper before it gets crazy, coaches salaries get really high, and VT gets left with the scraps.
Fuente + Bud is a great hire. Could it have been better? Maybe, but probably not considering VT's lack of Booster prowess.

That McMillan third down where he moved the pile, seemingly forever, was exciting. THAT was Virginia Tech football years ago, and it showed up again in that one play. Showed just how much the players were giving.

Just a great day, 12 straight & a new coach! And Micheal Brewer canno't be praised enough. It was clear the cavahoos were trying to put him out of the game (legally).To take the hits & punishment he took for 3 qtrs , but still hung in an lead this team to victory is a testament to his , determination to win , leadership & grit. May not be the most talented , but is a warrior with a heart of a lion.

My kids still don't know a world where UVa has beat us!!! Great job guys. Hats off to Frank. That has to feel great ending his last regular season game with a win over his rival for the 12th straight time!!

That emotion after the Adonis pick was the highlight of this season...without question. 12 in a row feels awesome. Plus Fuente + Bud????? This is too much win for me today!

It was a butt ugly win...but I feel good...actually relieved. How damn emotional: agonizing plays mixed in Fuente news, beer more beer, ahhhhh. Yea!!! Thanks, Frank! I am ready for nite nite.

Loved the Sam Rogers TD. Loved that Joey Slye redeemed himself by being money all day. Loved that rugby scrum push for eight yards when it should have only been one or two.
Excited for our future. So very grateful for Frank and all the years we have had together.

I work in Charlottesville. Last year, I took 11 Dunkin doughnuts to work on the Monday after the game.
