Aaron McFarling shared a gem of a telegram from Frank Beamer to Norm Lineburg in 1972.
On telegram: Frank was a grad assistant at Maryland in '72. Had coached under Lineburg -- a legend in his own right -- at Radford High.— Aaron McFarling (@aaronmcfarling) December 3, 2015

Kids, a telegram is like a text message, except someone has to bring it to you on a piece of paper.
Kids, paper is a physical object made from boiled trees that people used to write on.

Kids, trees were large plants with woody trunks. We used them to build houses, make paper, make furniture, etc.
I will probably be dead in 100 years.
