Virginia Tech Football Recruiting: 2016 WR Phillip Patterson Commits to the Hokies, Again

Hokies re-secure the services of an important 757 prospect.

Phillip Patterson verbally committed to Virginia Tech Monday night. It's the second time the Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) product picked the Hokies. Patterson originally committed to Virginia Tech on August 1, but he decommitted on November 7 shortly after Frank Beamer announced his retirement plans.

The 6-2, 180 pound wide receiver prospect is rated as a 3-star recruit by the 247Sports Composite.

The recommitment says either:
1. Fuentes and wiggins just went and did some massive work in the 757.

Or

2. Fuentes did work and told Patterson Zohn Burden will still be his coach next year.

I'm glad he's back to the good guys. We seriously need him. Not just for the 757, but because of that WR depth that we just don't have right now.
