I think Don Brown is an awesome coach. I'm surprised teams haven't considered him for a head coach position. He's been really good everywhere he's gone.

Despite BC's 0-8 conference record, the defense was elite this year. I think Boston College will have a tough time finding a replacement.

BC should offer Ruff McNeil the DC job.

Unbelievable coach. I regard Don Brown, Pat Narduzzi, and Bud Foster as three of the best defensive minds in college football.

Not that I'm speaking for French's opinion here but "three of the best" doesn't preclude Saban from being one of the best as well.
