ESPN National Championship Game Broadcast.

Every ESPN platform will carry the game in their own unique way, from traditional on ESPN to homer broadcast on ESPNU. What kills me though is the SEC network is getting a special and where does the ACC sit? Outside looking in, goACC.

ESPN is just utilizing a resource. They would have used that channel last year if Alabama had make it past the Sugar Bowl. Big Ten and Pac-12 Networks didn't do anything special last year, because they aren't run by ESPN.

No, my bigger issue is the massive delay between the online stuff and the TV stuff, so if I flip to ESPN3 during commercial for Skycam or whatever, I'm just seeing the last five minutes before the commercial.

I can't seem to find the ACC Network on my listings...

Wait, the Bachelor is on tonight. Football?

Will be watching the normal broadcast at the bar, then sometime next week will enjoy the Film Room replay because it is a great learning experience.

Just imagine the day soon when VT is back in these games and we get all these ways to watch the Hokies, and other coaches breaking down our play?

I watched the normal broadcast for the first half, then flipped over to the Film Room. Best football broadcast I have ever seen. I would pay to watch every game in a format like that (and I don't pay for nuthin* i don't have to).

*Except, of course, TKP

I set my DVR to record the Homer Broadcast, Film Room, ESPN Voices, and Finebaum Film Room just in case Tammy or Harvey call in.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

I think it's really cool how Classic is airing a version with no commentators or anything, just the stadium noise PA system included. I would kill for every single sporting event (one's in prime time anyway) to be broadcast that way so we wouldn't have to listen to the talking muppets...

"GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM LITTLE BROTHER, THE CUP IS COMIN’ ON HOME!”

I wish espn Classic was on sling tv, that sounds perfect.

I know, I was really bummed myself that sling doesn't carry Classic, really wanted to watch the game that way. Oh well, it was still one heckuva game to watch!

I was reading that ESPN is working on shutting down Classic, and turning it into an on demand service. I don't think a lot of systems carry it anymore.

Goaline is doing a "command center" with multiple cameras and a replay booth mockup.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

Does anyone know what the flashing green light on the back of the Alabama guy was?

His power supply?

Certain players on both teams are trying out a new pad/helmet system tonight. Suppose to help concussion and dehydration issues.

It was used multiple times this year in every conference and every team.

Do you have a link to a press release? Not that I don't believe you, just want more info. Alternatively, do you know what player had it tonight and around what time you saw it? Thanks!

When I noticed it was in the tunnel before 'bama came onto the field. Quick flash, noticed it, but promptly forgot about it immediately until reading this thread. I was watching regular ole ESPN.

Edit: It was a bama player I saw it on.

Reel men fish on Wednesdays

The SEC Network broadcast was awesome. McElroy is the best analyst ESPN has. McFarland was very good. Bielema was terrific and Finebaum barely spoke.

Did anyone watch the homers broadcast? I'm curious how it went.

It was homerific

I watched like five minutes of it. I recorded it too. What I saw was weird. It was Tessitore, Tajh Boyd, and Barrett Jones watching the game with microphones from the sideline. It was mildly interesting. But still better than ESPN voices.
