The Patriots make me mad because I can't figure out how they are good. Their formula fails for 31 other teams.
I believe their formula is "have Tom Brady."
How was Amendola not ejected?
Don't ask Mike Cary. I think the commentators startled him and made him spill his mixed drink when they broke to him for advice.
Patriots are like Bama. It's just getting old. I'm tired of seeing them. Only reason I'll watch the super bowl if they are in is in hopes of them losing.
It's that extra-fun "jealous hatred" - almost ALL of my distaste for both the Pats and 'Bama stem from the fact that my teams aren't as good as them. It makes me hate myself a little. I'm in a Mbius strip of emotion!!
Ask a fan of either if it gets old. (Hint: their laughter means it does NOT.) I'll take 9-10 wins this season and we can take it from there
I agree. There is a caveat as I would love it if the Redskins and Hokies were in the discussion as much as those two teams are. But if it's not going to be them then I like it mixed up a little bit.
Alex Smith with one of the best plays of the playoffs so far
That was some Eli->Tyree shit there. Pats fans must've caught the deja vu something fierce there.
And then followed it up with a diiiime on the low back-shoulder TD throw.
Man, did that guy figure it out or what? 2 seasons in, he was Akili Smith, not Alex.
I have a feeling the Cards are going to lose.
It feels eerily similar to the skins game last week.
Larry Fitzgerald might be my favorite wide receiver that I've seen play his entire career (I only fully followed the late years of jerry rice).
The NFL seriously needs new teams to make it to the Super Bowl. If Brady and Rogers make it, all they will talk about is how amazing they are and how they were snubbed on draft day blah blah blah. Never respecting the people they play with who actually make the plays.
Need some new blood in there. Not gonna lie - Cam or Carson and their defenses vs Peyton on his last leg or a depleted Steelers team would be a lot more interesting than if the Pats or Packers were in it. Would actually show teams with heart and practically unbiased commentary.
*love my boy Kam, never upset if he wins a Super Bowl (if it happens this year he better get MVP as he should've in their previous Super Bowl win)
**wish there were more Hokies in the playoffs. Always makes it more special to watch and root for
I usually don't get bored with greatness. I cheered for Tiger to win every major. I cheer for Bama as long as they aren't playing an ACC team. I hope LeBron wins 4 more titles. But, there's something about the patriots, ya just want to punch them in the face.
Agreed, Brady and Rogers are asshats. Though it should be interesting to note that Rogers was on the Cal Bears team that handed Palmer and USCw their only loss. Little bit of a rivalry there.
Wow, where has Floyd been all game (TD notwithstanding)?
HOLY DOGSHIT! Dat CATCH!!!
Ummmm. HOLY HELL GREEN BAY
WOW.
Arians might drop kick Rodgers if GB wins this thing.
That is one porous and inconsistent Cards D.
It didn't flip?
I guess NFL refs prove that a coin flip isn't a 50/50 proposition.
Apparently, not flipping is now an option.
This GB/AZ game is the craziest game I've ever seen.
And literally, the closest. Everything has been decided by inches or less.
Blakeman should be eliminated from officiating due to his weak ass coin flip. Pathetic. My two year old daughter could get a coin to flip
WHAT IS GOING ON
HOT DAYUM FITZGERALD!!!
That was one of the best playoff games I've ever watched.
I don't feel sorry for Rogers IN THE LEAST. He gets to go home and Roger Olivia Munn in a lubed up Psylocke outfit (see: Conan interview).
ICEWATER IN LARRY FITZGERALDS VEINS!!!
Ps...it destroyed me watching Larry go ham on us in lane stadium. Dude is nasty, but a classy dude.
Why didn't D-Lo do his job and shut him down??
FOOTBALL
OT: how is costas still on TV? Didn't he sexually assault a woman? Didn't he have pink eye during the olympics? Aren't his biased commentaries absolutely ludicrous each week?
#costasisgarbage
I was wondering the exact same thing about Collinsworth.
Living out here in AZ, I've about had it with Cardinals fans. Ultimate front running fan base.
Told a guy the other day that my dislike of the Cards goes back to them being divisional rivals with the Eagles. He literally had no idea what I was talking about. Kinda had that look on his face that people get when they don't believe there was ever a $2 bill.
Go Panthers!
I really like Cam, and frankly I want them to win it all just so all the tools that keep writing the Charlotte Observer complaining about him having fun on the field dtart frothing at the mouth
Not even 4 minutes in and Carolina is up 14-0.
apology for poor english
when were you when Seehawks died?
i was sat at home, watching footbol when phonr ring
' russel wilson is kill'
'no'
I think the Packers got robbed by the officiating against the cardinals. There was a lot of pass interference and holds that should have been called against the Card's. Nothing. That said, when the game mattered the Green Bay Defense couldn't stop Larry Fitzgerald. Shade of Pitt all over again.
You're right about that last bit. If you want to win, or make the argument that you deserve to win, you should probably cover the future hall of fame receiver in OT.
I think there were a lot of close calls and no calls that went either way.
Yeah as a Packers fan, last night I was screaming at the refs (alcohol probably didn't help) but this morning as a reasonable fan, I'm glad the refs let them play. Plus, it wasn't the refs that allowed Fitz to go HAM as soon as overtime started...
Yesterday I learned that Carolina plays Sandman before the team comes out (while the cheerleaders are doing their pre-show). The urge to jump was strong.
The Panthers really do a great, great job with their crowd/stadium entertainment. It was like being at a college game, and especially so when that first half happened.
Just one small problem, no Hokies on the roster.
I know, right?
Kam had a great knockdown, though.
Damn right. Do you think he's gonna get paid what he deserves next season?? I really hope so.
It is a super fun environment. Living in Charlotte is awesome and it is even more awesome when the Panthers are playing in the NFC Championship.
Whoever does the music for the stadium is a genius...He played Future songs on repeat while Russell Wilson was warming up. For those who don't know that is Cierra's ex boyfriend who is Russell's current.
*Ciara's
And I doubt it bother's him much. SB Winning QB>Future. Future just be a hater.
