"I'm looking most at Tech and FSU," Nnadi stated. "I'm still looking around at schools, just in case. It's a comfortable atmosphere (at Tech). I'm chillin' with the guys and having fun here. I've been hanging out with J.C. Coleman, C.J. Reavis, Ricky Walker, and James Gayle."
Nnadi's plan is to take his official visits before making a commitment. That means it could be late September at the earliest. He'll visit Blacksburg and Tallahassee officially, but with room for as many as five official visits, he's leaving space for other schools to change his mind before he commits.
"I'll make at least two or three (visits)," Derrick confirmed. "I'm looking at Ohio State to see how they are. I'm looking at UVA because every time I go to UVA, I always see football. I want to see other stuff. I feel like football is all they can show me."
Nnadi seems to be doing his due diligence (smart kid), but Tech seems to be a good position.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Feel like that shouldn't be the case, especially listening to their "fan base."
To avoid confusion, I'm assuming that they're showing him tape of VT games. Otherwise, that statement would make no sense.

I don't think so, that was for Brown's announcent. They don't seem to be fans of each other, especially since Brown is constantly being said to be the better of the two and it has put a chip on Nnadi's shoulder.
Okay good, phew. Always liked Nnadi better; reminds me of Darryl Tapp. Smaller, but with so much intensity and heart. Really hope we get him.
I think you're mistaken about Nandi's size.. he is 6'1" 299lb. (let's call it 6'0" 290lb to account for h.s. recruiting inflation)

247 still has him as being "warm" on and predicted to go to #LOLUVA. They need to update their site. Nnadi already said his two right now are VT and FSU. Also they list him at 305. #BEATMODE

you have to check the dates of the uva predictions. many never change their prediction and others wait to change right before when they know for a fact who it will be.
I read once on a LOLUVA site about Andrew Brown and how they thought that him and Nnadi would both go there and they couldn't believe that "Virginia Tech thought they even had a chance" against them. Haha lmao LOLUVA fans
Originally, UVA was supposed to get Blanding and Brown and VT was supposed to get Hand and Holmes and Nnadi could go either way.
It seems to me that these 247 guru's had to make initial picks for recuirts and don't change their pick unless it's basically been decided. Nnadi was thought to be a UVA lean early, hence the % being in their favor. They're all but out of it now, so expect a big swing towards whichever school he's going to pick just before he announces, whenever that may be.
I think they are all waiting. He has said he will take his officials, so they have plenty of time to change it. Plus, probably waiting for a better prediction after he talks about his officials. If he is beaming about FSU, then they will probably start that shift.

Does any Joe (no offense Joe!) get to post their predictions on where someone will commit? As I looked through the "predictions" on 24/7 I saw several bloggers from SBNation and a few homers. The one for Penn State is a guy from pennlive.com, which is a Harrisburg, PA newspaper.
Even with that being said, it does make me happy that all predictions within the last month except the idiot from Penn State have said VT.
FSU just picked up a 4* DT, this will be their 3rd commitment. I think this plays in our favor for Nnadi. Last I heard its between us and FSU, and with them now stacked, should be a simple decision.
I think it's between us and OSU, as of yesterday or today.
Yeah, I mentioned that in the next post, however, OSU already has 14 of their 20 spots taken up, and they have a few top recruits they are still following. If those guys commit, then I think Nnadi may be left out.
Getting more predictions our way now. I think him taking his time may work in our favor, since other holes will fill. OSU is tight on scholarships, FSU is loaded at DT (per previous post), so PSU may be our biggest challenge now. I think if walker jumps our way, we could snag Nnadi and have a nice D front. Nnadi is getting a lot of props, he could move up a star by Feb.
I think in his heart of hearts this dude wants to go to blacksburg to play for us but he just wants to get all he can experience wise of the process and he will committ.We just have to be patient.
FSU picked up a fourth DT commitment today.
I think Nnadi will start rethinking waiting on committing.
