Its the N&O. If it were up to them, the ACC would still be a 8 team league playing round robin til the day they died. They went out of their way to piss all over us in football from the minute we stepped foot in this conference.

We're not a potential tournament crasher with Florida State and Miami in our way? They might see things differently come Thursday night.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

I'd rather play BC than Flast, and while we thoroughly trounced Miami this last time, they thoroughly trounced us the first time, so I'm not anxious to play them again. Are we hot right now? You betcha, but this is neutral territory, no home advantage. While I admit to being more hopeful than confident, I am extremely excited to see how this team handles this tourney, and big splash or early exit, am really looking forward to their NIT performance...unless we're still playing this Saturday. Then, well, we'll see.

I'd rather play BC than any ACC team... But that's just me. And even though it's neutral territory, the big VT alumni base near DC/NOVA could help give VT somewhat of an advantage if they get loud.

Anyone would prefer to play BC as they are the worst team in the ACC.

With that said, a win against them really doesn't register, but losing to them would be what you would consider a BAD loss.

The way this team is playing right now, give me FSU and Miami and I will take my chances that the good guys make it to Round 4.

They listed us among the "top eleven." Mentioned we had a shot because we had beaten Miami and Virginia.

I guess we did too good during the year for them to consider us much of a "crasher"

Because WE'RE BETTER!

The article is for the Tarheel's home town paper - they are writing to their reader's who are mostly UNC fans or UNC haters. They do mention VT in the section above crashers as making the tournament exciting, and that we would face teams we've beaten. I expect he will learn how many VT alum consider DC home this week, but think it was more to get in the dig at MD and whine about it not being in NC, -saying it works good for us as well goes against his story line. I don't really see the disrespect here I would if someone from the Roanoke paper wrote this.
