I think UNC and Miami should be switched. I just don't think Miami is that good and I've never been sold on Morris. If UNC can beat USCe in their first game then they should come to Blacksburg undefeated.

Rip his freaking head off!

That could be a good game-line is 11 points, USCe favored-which may be too much. If USCe's D has a weak point it's the secondary. If Renner gets some time, he could do some damage. But playing at Williams-Bryce is not an easy task and may be culture shock for UNC.....

Anybody else really, REALLY worried about GT? We usually have a bye week beforehand to plot and scheme, but this year, we get 4 days to completely change our defensive mindset for the Jacket's wishspreadoptionfense. Oh yeah, GT is really good when playing teams that play them on a short week. Shit.

With 9 returning defensive starters who have seen GT before (short week or not), I'm not any more worried than I normally am. They always play us close, so it's important to respect that, but short week or not, our guys will be prepared.

I am very concerned with the short week for GT. just another scheduling issue that goes against us.

all maroon everything

But they play UNC before, whereas we play Marshall. I expect a tough game and our offense absolutely needs to play them hard.

I'm pretty sure they will be getting pumped up for UNC more than preparing for us. From the ACC Media Days, they were talking about how 118 is something that is locker room material for both those teams since the final score of their game last year was 60-58. Both defenses want to prove they are better than that so let them get pumped for that game and go all out for it. I'm not worried.

Concerned, yes. Worried, no. The Defensive front 7 has already beaten GT twice, shutting down that offense pretty efficiently. They should be able to get back to assignment defense in 3 days (1 day of travel). I would be more worried if we had a short week after GT. #ALLTHECHOPBLOCKS

GT, meh. Our offense will be rolling and keep theirs off the field.
