While all hypothetical this still bodes well for Buzz and Whit.

Wow. That's pretty good, and I have a feeling it's going to get even better very soon.
I'm going to guess this is because of the growth projection.
How is Northwestern (#23) so high when they have never made the NCAA tournament? Penn State, South Florida, and Auburn were puzzling to me as well. Admittedly I didn't read the article and just looked at the list but still I'm going to have trouble buying the methodology just based on that.
That still places them 10/14 in the B1G. Note that 12 of the B1G teams are in the top 35. Without seeing the breakdown myself, I'd guess BTN revenue has to be a big reason.
BTN revenue and tourney units from BIG are pretty good every year.
Northwestern is about 40 minutes away from Chicago.
Does anyone in Chicago care about Northwestern basketball enough to add value though? As far as I can tell it hasn't benefitted them with any Chicago recruits. Even if being in the B1G is enough of a boon I would think that Penn State, who has a far larger fan base that reaches many metro areas, and Iowa, with a larger fan base and more basketball success, would be more valuable.
They also pay out more I'm sure in salaries etc.
I'm shocked to see UNC that low, I would have thought that they would be in the top 3
