550lb squat — Tim Settle Jr (@tim_settle) June 24, 2016
I check out the tweet machine at work and this popped up. That 550 Lbs back squat isn't far off Conte's 575 which drew some attention last year. I'm a huge Tim Settle fan and with Acree on the strength team now, Settle could put on some serious strength over his time in maroon and orange.

Tim Settle can squat pi of me.
PIE!!!
(3.14159), all us post-engineering business people know that :--).
All the better to measure the volume of the pie
Why did you make it negative with the parentheses, Mr. Business Person?
He can squat pi of what I should weigh, but only 2.68 of what I actually do weigh :/
you can lose 30 lbs by september!! I have faith :D
Hopefully he squats enough to crack the starting lineup and start wrecking some havoc on opposing o-linemen...
There is a photo floating around of Settle celebrating Stroman's birthday. He looks trimmed up. Hopefully the big man can wreck stuff all season.
TIM THE TANK!! TIM THE TANK!! TIM THE TANK!!
Found it
Great find! I have feeling Tim and Ricky will not allow any drop off in aggression when they are in the game. Will be fun to watch.
Anyone else think of this:
ABC BBD
Mmm-hmmm!
Hell, Tim Settle squats more than 4 of me.
...who are you? Tom Cruise?
No, I'm just a guy that's been 5'7", 130 since freshman year. Of high school. A decade ago.
Damn that's like middle school size, no wonder you were an HT instead of the actual Corps ;)
Someone sounds jealous. I will say, though I did enjoy the actual marching band part quite a bit, I couldn't stand band company for most of my four years there, and I completely understand some of the hate from the rest of the Corps. Lot's of us didn't like people in the band any more than the rest of you did. Though to be frank, I wasn't at Tech for the Corps, I was there for Navy ROTC. If I could have been a mid without being a cadet, I totally would have. But it all seems to have worked out.
Side note: I saw 2 people who got a commission when the graduated but we're not in the Corps. Thought that was not an option.
There's ways. MECEP and STA-21 for Marines and Navy prior-enlisted. You're administratively part of NROTC, but you mostly do your own thing. There's usually at least one Marine prior doing MECEP at Tech.
These two were young woman in their early 20's, didn't say anything in the bio about prior enlistment. Just something about leadership platoon or something.
Platoon Leader Course. Another Marine program. Popular with some because you can get a guaranteed pilot slot, though it doesn't pay tuition.
well, that pretty much describes Tom Cruise so I'm not really sure you've actually denied it. I'm going to refer to you as Tom or TC from this point forward.
something something scientology
yeah, let's not go there.
Scientology creeps me out, I've never been into Katie Holmes, Suri is a stupid name for a kid, and Maverick was the third best character in Top Gun at best. Have I proven I'm not him yet or do I need to keep going? Cause I can.
You left off admitting that one thing about you that every guy knows is true, but Tom would never admit to...
Every character in Iron Eagle was better than Maverick in Top Gun. Just sayin'.....
YES. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

I'll take Navy over Civil Air Patrol any day. Even if Tarantino was right about Top Gun.
One of the most forced things I've ever seen.
I mean, it's funny but you can do the same thing with any topic on any film.
Okay then, please explain to us, using specific examples from the movie, how Scream is actually about herpes. (I just used a random topic generator and random movie generator and used the first two choices)

EDIT: I'm not just trying to be a dick here. I figured it would be fun to try out.
Entering the fray here: I have never seen the movie Scream, but the title makes me think it's so bad that having a case of Herpes might almost be preferable to seeing it. Carry on!
It's actually a pretty good slasher franchise. And the later ones are somewhat self-aware and parody themselves. Worth a watch.
Leg up and I'll keep it in mind on your recommendation.
I can't wait until Settle scores six safeties in the Bristol game during week 2 and jumps into the Heisman conversation.
Yeah but I think it'll be his punt return TDs that really make the case for him
For some reason I read this as "pint return TDs" and was like "Heyyyyy I could do that! Pints for everyone!!"
id like to see him play some tight end! couple weeks back at Kevin Jones football camp he caught about 10 footballs until Isaiah Ford threw one that gave ole tim a bloody nose lol. still pretty impressive hands though.
I smell a big man TD in the future.
And he's going to hurt somebody in the process.
Hey, if Baylor can have that 400-lb dude playing TE...
Forget the Heisman. Everyone knows the award lineman covet most is the Piesman Trophy. I think our boy Tim has a good shot at it this year.
I go about 260 these days, and accurate headline is still accurate.
I actually just got under 300 for the first time in a while so I posted a lie. Shame me.
I'm 300, no he doesn't.
Pssshh...that's only half his body weight
(Ba-dump-pump)
Pretty soon I am going have to bequeath my name to Tim...
