Giving a shout out to Vickie Graham for being a great front office employee for Virginia Tech Athletics. A few years ago I went to the Merryman Center after the 3.2 run to see about getting a football poster for my wall. This nice lady said they were out but she would send me a few in the mail. Three years later I get a roll of posters and pocket schedules with a note saying she hadn't forgotten but my address had been misplaced in the renovations and shuffle. I wanted everyone on TKP to know that the Athletic Department has a fantastic person at the front door and that Vickie Graham is the best. I will definitely be joining the Hokie Club next year once residency and a paycheck begin because of her.
If anyone else has had a great experience with VT AD staff, feel free to share here

She totally forgot about it, found a post-it note 3 years later, and was praying you had forgot.
In all seriousness, a lot of the support staff all over VT is amazing. Shout out to the tour guide's bus driver Richard Bass (who I believe is retired now). They really make VT a special place.
If you had gone to any other business and requested something and gotten it three years later you would not be happy!
That being said it sounds like it was a free item
You may consider passing this on to Whit (twitter or e-mail). Managers like to hear positive feedback about their employees. She probably doesn't report to him, but he knows who she does report to and this could help her in the long run. Additionally, her kindness netted a future Hokie Club member, and that will be music to his ears.
You mean Whit doesn't obsessively check TKP like the rest of us?
He's actually HOAT.
Nay!
I wish I got his paycheck. I wonder how many hay bales I could buy.
Annual base salary $518,175.00 divided by the average price of 540 area code Mixed Grass hay bales on http://www.hayexchange.com/va.php ($45) comes to...11,515 bales.
Now if you want to mix in some oats, carrots, apples, and buckets of beer, that number is going to decrease. Of course, of course.
THEY HAVE ALFALFA!
Thanks for the link!
Definitely a positive thing, and worthy of an honorable mention here.
Nice job.
