Sometimes life's great. Many other times it's fine.
And sometimes it's just kick-you-in-the-groin terrible.
The #Redskins have also waived DB Kyshoen Jarrett w/ a failed physical designation. Due to nerve injury, he was a long shot to play.— Tarik El-Bashir (@TarikCSN) July 25, 2016
Kyshoen played above his 6th round pay grade all year last year before getting hurt in December. Now he's an injured free agent.
It's times like these that make me think about my football fandom, because he's such a good dude and this just sucks.

Dang that sucks. I really hope he's able to fully recover; he had a nasty injury.
What a shame, hate to see that happen to anyone but Kyshoen was a great guy, showing a lot of promise too last year playing all over the field. One of my favorite hokies of all time, I think I teared up the first time I read that story about taking care of his brother. Hopefully he can recover, but this is the kind of injury you often don't come back from.
That sucks. Hopefully he was insured to help cover expenses during his recovery time.
As a VT/DC sports fan today was really terrible, Kyshoen was incredibly impressive and I had really high hopes for him.
Not to mention Junior Gallette just blew out his achilles again...

Several "pundits" have said he may not play again. Feel horrible for him.
Wow!
Hope that is the case
I hope this isnt the case because I would much rather see him regain full mobility of the arm rather than rely on a disability check from the NFL. Hopefully it has some way of being available per season or per games missed rather than as a whole.
Through all of this discussion of his injury, I have seen nothing mentioned about him getting any kind of surgery to release the compression on the nerves. Kind of surprised that there isnt some option along those lines. It might have been that he was hoping for a recovery by this season and that surgical options would have ensured missing the season. If thats the case, hopefully now he can pursue those options and be ready next year. I hope for his and his family's sake that there is some option along those lines.
Well, obviously this.
I am sure the family was counting on his paycheck to help with the care of his brother as well.
F-k Dammit! This happens WAY too much to our guys!
Another reason to hate the Cowboys.
Not that I needed any.
Keep in mind, the Redskins just suck.
Best of luck Kysheon. A bummer to be sure.
You just suck.
This really frustrates me. Darren McFadden took out Kyshoen Jarrett in the 1st quarter and Dashaun Phillips in the 2nd quarter, both with neck injuries. I have no idea if the hits were "clean," but they definitely were "legal." Since the NFL is locking down the game in the name of safety, not protecting the tacklers seems pretty short sighted.
Payton Manning was once cut by the team that drafted him due to nerve issues. Last year he won the Super Bowl. It is way too early to write Kyshoen off.
Peyton Manning was cut fifteen years into his career, when he had already established himself as a future Hall of Famer and won a Super Bowl ring. That team was also given the opportunity to draft the highest rated QB prospect since Peyton Manning himself.
Last year, Peyton Manning was a member of the team that won the Super Bowl.
Guys on 106.7 the fan were talking about this and Galette this am, they were not too happy. I feel for Kyshoen since he was a Hokie, but for Galette is sounds like Karma for a woman beater.
