I met with Taylor at a youth football came in Richmond earlier in the month. We discussed his best memory while playing for the now-retired Frank Beamer, his thoughts on new coach Justin Fuente and what he thinks about the Battle at Bristol.

That FSU game is such a good memory
Loved that 2007 team, crazy year, but that Florida State game has always stood out to me. Tyrod was absolutely magnificent, bring us back from down by making huge, clutch plays. Plus 3rd and 31 was born. Just wow.

Luckily, not even Stinespring could stop Tyrod from rolling to his left and throwing a literal perfect deep ball on the run to Justin Harper just barely in bounds and out of reach of the defender.
Tyrod kept Stinespring employed for as long as he was. The true BS really showed, once Tyrod wasn't there to improvise.

Pretty sure he was not trying to get a first down with that call. He was thinking - we're screwed, don't get a sack or turnover, see if we can pick up some yards before we punt. Fortunately no-one told Tyrod that.

Yeah I kept rewinding the clip to see if there was any possibility that it wasn't a called QB scramble, but you can hardly call that pass protection by the line and it seems like all the possible receivers on the near side start blocking almost immediately.
So, calling a run on 3rd and 31? Classic Stinespring.
Postgame Frank said something to the effect of "Any time I can hang 40 points on Florida State, I'm going to."
Surprised he didn't mention that we curbstomped Tenn in the Chic-fil-a bowl.
Tyrod's always had a certain classiness that many former players don't enjoy.

I've watched this video a million times (although it switched who uploaded it when ESPN took all their videos off YouTube). But for some reason when it flashed to Tyrod on the sideline is an image I always remember from it.
