Tahj Capehart publicly announced his verbal commitment to the Hokies on Saturday.

The 5-10, 175 pound Bishop Sullivan Catholic HS wide receiver chose Virginia Tech over a plethora of Power Five offers including: Maryland, Alabama, Georgia, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
The Hokies again addressed their need at wide receiver on the recruiting trail. Capehart joins Sean Savoy, Hezekiah Grimsley and Kalil Pimpleton as wide receiver commits in Tech's 2017 class. Caleb Farley and Malik Willis could also transition to WR.
Capehart is 4-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite.

Damn, man, there must have been a lot of horse owners there, then. I had the unfortunate experience of living near hooville for ten years, and the one thing you cannot say about the school is that they don't have at least their share of beautiful wimmin. One of my friends even rear ended a car one day near campus because of a particularly attractive bevy of babes walking by. He paid the guy off on the spot for the tap, but sustained enough damage to his Saab that he went home and at midnight, called the State Police and claimed that he had hit a deer on Rt. 29, submitted the accident to his insurance company, and got off light. If you know me, you know I don't often say anything nice about the lolhoos, but in this case...
What's interesting is that people have a tendency to notice attractive women, and it's this tendency that makes (almost) every university seem to have their fair share.

Tank Land's coach Chris Scott on the radio show asked about kids committing early: "I'm a fan if they know what they're looking for and have done their research. Like Tank who has known he has wanted to go to VT since he was a kid. And I ask are you sure? and he says yes coach, I've done my research but no matter what other offers there are, nothing will trump this one."
Sounds promising.
Love seeing #757 kids saying things like "VT is a movement" after that commitment. Gotta get that pipeline rolling.
Virginia Tech definitely has some momentum in the 757 right now. 2018 LB Teradja Mitchell and 2020 DB Keontae Jenkins, two blue-chip prospects from the 757, gave a shout out to Tech.

Keep in mind that the UVA prediction was made a year ago, before London was fired.
Mitchell has tweeted about our last two Hampton Roads recruits. I would love it if Burden, Foster, and Fuente could make some real progress and make us a real contender for him.

I'm still pretty sure that's what will happen. Just my opinion but I think he wants to have fun with his recruitment. Who wouldn't? Plus it must be hard having a coach pushing one way while you're wanting to go another. Remember they have to get along for his highschool regular season.

I thought it was interesting that he mentioned Devon Hunter by saying he heard he would be committing soon. Getting Hunter to commit would be huge. It's good to have guys like Tahj Capehart carrying the Virginia Tech flag and staying in those guys ears.
