I think USC is foolish to even start trash talking..I'm pretty sure just about everyone in the country would agree that USC doesn't stand a chance against the Tide

That game ain't even gonna be close. The t-shirt battle is the only thing USCw could expect to come close in, and judging by the first round, they're gonna have a rough time of it there too.

Interestingly, USCw went to national championship games and played against Oklahoma and Texas, so not only did we not see USCw against Miami in their contemporary heyday (2001-2002), but we never saw them against an SEC team either. USCw beat Iowa (2002), Michigan (2003, 2006), Illinois (2007), and Penn State (2008) in Rose Bowls that were not for the national championship.
Personally, I'd love to see 2001 Miami play whichever Alabama team Saban picks but a Carroll USCw vs a Saban Bama would be awesome.
I think USC is being ridiculous. They should realize that they are gonna get absolutely ripped apart by Bama and should have stopped before they started. I'd like to see some of that trash talk between Tennessee and ND, tho.
My money is on USC for this game. I really think they're gonna shock some people this year, starting with beating Bama.

I have to ask, and I'm really not trying to be a dick, but, what makes people think betting against Bama in a pro-style v pro-style power teams matchup is a good idea? The only teams that have looked competent against Bama ran run-option or spread offenses. You don't out phyiscal Bama. You outrun them or lose. Even when LSU was putting up a good fight, they were running an option with their RBs pretending to be QBs...What gives? I just don't get it.
