OT: Tailgate playlist - top ten versions of Enter Sandman as voted on by me

In preparation for the official start of football season I have spent my morning compiling my top ten all time favorite covers of every Hokies favorite song. They are as follows, however they are not in rank order, enjoy.

1. I'm starting safe here, this isn't a huge variation from the original but it's freaking Motorhead you guys.

2. Chickenfried Sandman is best Sandman.

3. Pickin' on Enter Sandman.

4. Mac DeMarco and his band get fully dipped in this one broh. Disclaimer NSFW language in this one broh.

5. Hopefully this will balance out the language in the last one and it's kids so free turkey legs right?

6. And here's where we really start getting weird.

7. Just wait for it. It's only 1:17.

8. For the folks out there still reeling from Lockn' last weekend.

9. UNBGBBIIVCHIDCTIICBG

10. Grunge Cello

You remember that pre-teen girl band version? I thought it was pretty good.

-What we do is, if we need that extra push, you know what we do? -Put it up to fully dipped? -Fully dipped. Exactly. It's dork magic.

That should have been an honorable mention.

I had no clue Motrhead did Sandman, but I think the Bosstones actually did it better. That's going on the playlist when I hit the gym later on.

Ween on TKP. Automatically number 1. That needs to happen more often.

Also, I would not have picked Mac DeMarco to be one of the people to cover this song. Awesome.

21st century QBs Undefeated vs UVA:
MV7, MV5, LT3, Grant Wells, Braxton Burmeister, Ryan Willis, Josh Jackson, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.

You should check out some of his encores and halftime songs on youtube. Another great one that comes to mind is when Pierce, his bassist, covers blackbird. It gets me every time.

I bet I can guess McGruber's favorite

Zac Brown also does a great cover of War Pigs. I wonder if Kenny Chesney knows any Metallica

"We were at the pinnacle, and we did it for years," Foster says. He pauses, nods, takes a deep breath. "And I did it with the best guy in the business."

Kazoo Enter Sandman is surprisingly good if you can find that

"When I was growing up, Virginia Tech was a school that was kicking ass and taking names, and it's time we get back to that" - James Franklin

surprised this didn't make the cut...I love this version

This is actually really cool. I missed this one.

We used to play Rockabye Baby!'s version of Enter Sandman for our son when he was a wee one.

(Btw-for you new parents, they have tons of cool stuff set to Lullabies...Bob Marley, REM, U2, Zeplin, Coldplay)

We put the K in Kwality

The criminally underrated Rob Zombie (NSFW)
