Thanks. The defense is probably going to get eaten alive by Oregon. We'll run a pressure 4-3 under Tahnootah, and Oregon's offense is tailor made to attack the kind of defense he runs. London looks like he's constantly trying to figure out the mysteries of basic arithmetic on the sidelines, but hopefully NotoriousTOB can be the coach whisperer for him. Realistically, the O/U should be set at 5.5 wins. BYU is recruiting guys from their lacrosse program to put bodies in their injury riddled secondary, so I'm a little more confident than a week ago that we'll beat them. Realistically, we won't know much about this UVA team until we go to Pitt in week 5. I'm hoping that we end up bowl eligible just to get our guys the extra practices, but I'm not putting any money on it either way just yet.

Thanks for that. I've actually been a Stanford fan my whole life, so I've followed Oregon pretty closely over the past few years. Gotta say, they're gonna eat a lot of teams alive. I'm definitely interested to see how London does this year in terms of sideline antics, game management, etc. Definitely should be a fun football season all around.
besides your uncanny football knowledge for a Hoo, I must also commend you for your TKP username. Begrudgingly, I admit it takes some balls to use accurate adjectives, like "dandy", to refer to yourself being a LOLUVA fan, even if you try to mask it by including Dave Navarro's name as well.

Women's rugby, maybe. Of course, on the men's side VT dominated this past year 57-12 in Charlottesville. It was a good day. We also beat them earlier in the year in the finals of the ACRL 7's tournament to qualify for the Collegiate Rugby Championship in Philly. So yes, VT's dominance of the commonwealth does in fact extend past football.

i was wondering about that after i posted but i just remembered them being good back then. just think washington, colorado, and georgia tech being awarded national titles in two years time. bristol would just implode into the earth poltergeist style if that happened today.

Looked through a few of those lists, and found it interesting that we got over half of our all-time "points" between 2000 and 2009, which doesn't include our #2 finish from 1999.
There should be a minimum number of turkey legs required to create a forum post. Freshmen don't become starters until they earn it, this is a blue collar discussion board, dammit!
