OT: Good Soft Serve Ice Cream in Bristol??

Anybody got a good recommendation for soft serve ice cream neat Bristol ? Mrs. VTmbaHacker planted the idea in the kidlings head and we are now on a hunt. Bonus points if it is close to Warrior State Park

My google search is turning up lots of places that are "permanently closed"

No idea but I wanted to keep this from being swept down the tracker.

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

Cranberry Lane has a ice cream shop next door on State Street, Blackbird Bakery on State Street, Sweet Frog in Bristol and Kingsport (technically yogurt but it's good), Ice cream Stop in Abingdon, Mona Lisa's in Johnson City (technically Gelato), Freddie's in Kingsport...

I asked my dad to help me think of places and he said Dairy Queen, so he's not much help :P

+1 for Blackbird in Bristol. Great bakery.

Pals has excellent milk shakes, especially the original Pal's location - their Peanut Butter shake is the bomb. There's one on East Stone Drive near Warrior's Path.

Also, next door is the Purple Cow. They have awesome food and soft serve.

I forgot about the Purple Cow! It's great! Tons of milkshake flavors. Way more than Cook-Out.

Fried green tomatoes, steak bombs, fried zucchini, soup beans with cornbread and fried okra.....dang, I just ate and I made myself hungry again.

Thanks for the suggestions every one. We had a Pal's milkshake and then tried to go over to the Purple Cow for soft serve. Purple Cow was closed for the Labor Day holiday. They open back up tomorrow, maybe we will grab one then

I told him I’d crawl on my hands and knees to be the DL coach at Virginia Tech. Now, all of a sudden, I’m sitting in this chair and I told him I’d still crawl on my hands and knees to work here. I just want to be here.
