Yes and no. They are FCS in terms of NCAA rules but the SWAC and MEAC don't participate in the FCS playoffs. The HBCU, historically black colleges and universities, don't think the FCS playoffs hold any benefits for them.

And while I'm sure I'm the only one who will say so at this point, I chose this particular comment to express my true feelings that our uniforms looked like shit last night to me. Hated them. No redeeming features, no wow factor, no nothing except who the hell is that playing Tennessee? Would I feel differently if we'd have won? I think I would have not bothered to comment, but since we're bitching...

LOLUVA losing is some of the best shit because no matter what, I know we'll finish at least... AT LEAST... with 2 wins. They might not win another game all year. It's so exciting.

I heard the announcers say that Bronco had the players watch game tape of player attitudes. BYU from the bowl game last year, and UVA last week. He wanted them to be more positive and upbeat even when the game wasn't going that way.
So basically, he's teaching his team how to lose.

The fact that UVA only lost to Oregon by 18 points leads me to believe that they spent all offseason prepping for this game, as if it was going to be Mendenhall's coming-out party. Not only did they lose to Richmond by 3 possessions, but this game was never really close, and now we get to watch perhaps the worst season in UVA history.

The new UVA helmets are bothering me. I've noticed it with both versions they wear so far.
Problem #1:
-The style of the numbers doesn't match the V. The numbers are too big and blocky on the helmet. If they were smaller or thinner, it might look better. Or they should just leave the damn logo on both sides.
Problem #2:
-The color of the numbers doesn't match the V. In both cases, the V is color #1, and the outline and scissors are in color #2. But the number is color #2, with the outline being color #1. Specific to the white helmets -- the V was orange, and the outline/scissors were blue, while the number was blue with an orange outline. While the numbers match the jersey numbers, the helmet should be matching itself.

Well, the unspoken problems #3 and #4 were that they have scissors instead of a T, and blue with the orange.
Real talk, Bronco downgraded from BYU to UVA. Just thought of this...
Love to see UVA lose but Juan Thornhill is gonna be a player for them. Had some great tackles in the game!
It is a whole lot more fun watching them lose when we win. Kinda takes the fun out of it after watching us piss a game away.
