LB Jamieon Moss has left the football team.

I just saw the tweet by Andy Bitter about Jamieon Moss leaving the team. Given our lack of linebacker depth, how bad is this for us?

Don't think he ever saw play time right?

SP but he was 2nd LB on depth chart.

I'm just wondering what happens if Edmunds goes down. It seems like we are beyond screwed if he gets injured or even just leaves the game.

or even "just leaves the game."? Or if he gets abducted by aliens, or defects to Russia, or... Get your drift, but c'mon. Leg to you though, because you're right and I'm a jerk.

Reel men fish on Wednesdays

I just meant if he comes out for a breather for a few plays.

ooops. Nevermind. like I said about being a jerk.

No problem. I was just confused more than anything else.

Edmunds for the rest of the season....

Beckette or Carter or Belmar must be pretty good or all 3. Could be a good thing!

FIRST DOWN, HOKIES!

Didn't another LB just go out with season ending injury?

Yes. Trent Young.

Time for Raymond Minor to step and earn his scholarship back.

Allen Ox

Huh? I thought he left again.

Left on August 11, returned as a walk-on about 2 weeks later.

"Exit light..."

Okay. Missed the return two weeks later.

I mean, pretty soon Taylor Swift is gonna write a song about him.

And it would probably be a great song

We have a severe need of players at linebacker. I hope we are throwing the kitchen sink at linebacker recruits like we did Vince Hall.

With Vince Hall, it was a case of throwing a high school classroom chair.
Stinespring's command performance, I believe. Vince was truly impressed, fortunately.

A picture is worth a thousand words. A gif is worth a million.

Well this is a nice howdy-doo.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

Does Foster himself have any eligibility left?

The NCAA moved to prevent him from throwing on the pads for fear of player safety.

Coach Scott is also a former collegiate linebacker.

Yeah but Bud can tackle backs with nothing but a scowl.

And now we have the next TKP shirt!!! Picture of Bud Foster with his searing scowl and Resting Bud Face

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

Sadly, can't sell any merchandise with coach or player likeness.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

Players I get. Why can't a paid professional coach sell his likeness? They can do commercials while players can't.

I think he means WE can't, not that nobody can. Thus how Beamer was on all those shirts last year.

Precisely. Idk if Joe would be able to secure Bud's agreement

In Bitter's practice update, Bud made it clear this was a non-football related issue. He cracked the two deep the last two years, and this summer. He was headed toward playing time. Wish the kid the best.

not sure how he was headed for playing time when he was behind someone with more eligibility left.

I think Trey should move to...

aww I just made myself sad

Now you've made us sad, too.

wonder how many times he's fumbled at UMD? Guessing none.

I am hoping that when Moss gets everything back together he can rejoin the team.

I'm just hoping that Moss gets everything back together.

-Hunter Carpenter (probably)

Do we know what he needs to get back together?

I mean, at least he won't be gathered by a rolling stone, for what it's worth.

Personal reasons, and I am perfectly fine in respecting that. I would much rather see a player take a step back to get things under control then have something blow up for him by trying to handle to many things at once.
