Blakeway Gigapixel Panorama of the Battle of Bristol is out

There's a panorama taken at the start of the game last weekend; if you're not familiar with these they're pretty cool. You can zoom all around the stadium and tag yourself in the picture if you'd like:

If this looks familiar, there was one taken last season at the Ohio State game just before Enter Sandman.

We need to stop letting these people come to our games. They only record our bad memories.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

I am super pixelated, same as at the OSU game, but overall this is still pretty cool.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

Does anyone know what the file sizes for these kinds of things are? I know Canon RAW files for their 50 MP 5Ds are well over 65 MB so this thing has to be huge.

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

Gigabytes, easily.

Scroll up to Colossus, there's a video hidden there. Anyone see any other easter eggs?

-What we do is, if we need that extra push, you know what we do? -Put it up to fully dipped? -Fully dipped. Exactly. It's dork magic.

Both mascots are hidden

Hopefully some stick'em somewhere.

Maaan. I'm smeared. Allison MM 2 rows from top. All of us are smeared.

Found me and my dad, but a damn light blocks out my wife and the rest of our group. And the whole section.

There is nothing in the world like Thursday night in Blacksburg!

I found the people I got tickets for. It helps that the were sitting directly to the left of the corp in the photo.

The Hokie Bird was surprisingly easy to find. I wasnt even looking.

I love a good nap. Sometimes that's all that's getting me out of bed in the morning.

Ironically, the actual Hokiebird is almost directly below, though you can only see the very top of the mascot head

One thing that really stands out to me (pun intended) is that almost everywhere you look most tech fans in the larger tech crowds are standing up whereas most Tennessee fans are all sitting down.

I'm guessing that's because, based on the sideline poles, it's Tennessee ball 3rd and long

Ah good eye. When they said "beginning of the game" I thought they literally meant the beginning like the kickoff or something

This is pretty cool - have never seen anything like this. I zoomed in to Allisons M, row 49, where my crew was. I found my buddy, but the picture makes it look like he's standing there alone. I'm pretty sure he was never standing there alone without all of us with him. Also, people that were right by us are strangely shown 10-15 people away in this picture.

I'm guessing something went screwy with the panorama - as it was panning or whatever.

Still pretty cool technology.

Virginian by Birth, Hokie by Choice

So I'm clapping and my sister appears to be high-fiving some woman standing next to me that I do not remember. It was a marathon that day.

I'd love to have a panorama from the view of that stadium, but yea I don't really want to remember that one again.
