Devin Vandyke bounced back from more than his fair share of injuries to start at Hampton. If he remained healthy, DVD would've been a multi-year starter at mike LB for the Hokies.
"I had high hopes for Devin because he's tough, hard-nosed and smart," Foster said. "He'd have factored in by now here if he'd stayed healthy. He just had an unfortunate situation here right from the get-go."
"I really can't articulate it," (Devin) said. "It's been years of work. I knew I could play at Virginia Tech and dominate, but I just never had the opportunity to. Just being able to come here and work and earn a starting position, it was just like, 'Man ... finally.'
Excellent news for Devin.

Yep, Ronny was here during the wrong "time" for our defense as the whip was being altered and used less frequently , and poor Devin just couldn't stay healthy.

he was. I do remember devon looking like a thumper when he was able to play in spring games and scrimmages. Wish we had that at MLB now.
Yes he did have injury issues as well but he managed to get on the field some. Devin's injury bug was constant.
