It is really exciting. BC is not a great team, but they have always been a solid team with a good OL and great defense. It was extremely impressive to see us move the ball the way we did. I thought there was a stretch (2nd quarter I think) where it felt like we got a little conservative and took the foot off of the gas. However, it was awesome to see some creativity and rhythm on offense (something I feel like we have lacked for years). I turned to my wife and said "this is a game that would have been 13-6 with the old staff".
I hope we can build off of this and remain consistent. My concern is that we will be inconsistent with a new offense, have some growing pains, and struggle at times.

I think winning the TOP with a quick offense actually says great things about your defense. The numbers, especially 3rd Down %, are indicative about that.

If that is Buds go to metric. Id say so far the defense gets an A+.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he defense has only allowed 11 third down conversions...in three games. And two of those were off lucky tipped balls......

They've caused 21 three and outs....in 46 drives...............45. 65% of drives have ended in three and outs against VTs defense.
Thats got to be top in the nation...its in the top ten at least.

We are also top 50 in total offense, top 40 in rushing. Our stats should improve as we get better at running our offense.
