One of two things for that game, either Bronco will hopefully have them respectable in year 5 of his program, or that will be the new coaches first game.

I was going to say that this must be Chick-fil-a's effort to get the kick off game pushed back to noon, until I read that this is the Monday kick off game.
So it looks like that is what ESPN is doing for that aspect of the ACC contract.

We are already playing Penn State and Michigan that year. That's a difficult out of conference schedule already. Adding Georgia (and replacing Liberty) would make it probably the toughest in the country. If only we could do the Chick-fil-A kickoff game in 2018 or 2019. I'd much rather do that. We're playing Notre Dame and have ODU, ECU, and a Virignia FCS team.

Technically, we stopped scheduling UVA in 2003. Since then, the ACC's been scheduling it for us. Although, looking back at our record, that appears to be a good thing.

Always nice to see LOLUVA get embarrassed on national TV.

One of one thing
This needs to be updated with Bronco in the "Hire a New Coach..." image
Yes someone please do this and post it!

I was hoping to have Groh, TimeCop, and Bronk in there, but thanks.

We need to go from "Win 5-8 Games" to "Win 0-8 Games"

just posted this in the LOLUVA thread. I need to TKP harder before I post...

A Monday nooner is always hard to get excited for.
lol I guess the rest of the ACC turned them down
Well, we'd have to give up a home game against either Liberty or ECU to participate...
I guess that makes UVa the SEC's Liberty
Whoa, whoa there... even Liberty doesn't deserve that level of disrespect.

And the Dawgs get a jump on the rest of the nation by starting off the season 1-0 four years in advance.
Well, to be fair, VT schedules them every year.
Well, the NCAA won't allow us to play Blacksburg High to try to improve our strength of schedule.

There are already more people at that game than at uvas spring game
I think this was a secret part of that Greyson Lambert trade.
Georgia must trying to fill spots in their schedule with future FCS schools
It seems they typically try and find a "hot" team with recent success. They surely bucked that trend.
It's also weird they have filled up their 2020 slots, but haven't set anything up for 2018 or 2019.
Bronco might have UVA up to a 5 win team by then.
I assume you mean 5 total wins by 2020?
All jokes aside, uva seems like a weird choice here.
Why not us, I'd love to play Georgia.
Nah...they want to confuse the announcers and everyone with UGA vs. UVA.
#1 -- been there, done that, and we don't have Eddie Royal to make it competitive this time.
#2 -- apparently we're only allowed to play Alabama in the CFA Kickoff Game.

Speaking of Eddie
TOUCHDOWN BABY

I know, our schedule is pretty set...but still, we want Georgia
You could say that again

how the hell did UVA earn this?
Setting up a big debut for their next coach.
Shamelessly stealing this from the other thread since it's exactly how I picture the game.
Vic is even wearing the right color.
I thought that SEC teams saved their FCS cupcakes for the week in November before they play their ACC rivals.
Or the week before they play 'bama.
