This past weekend at the BC game, Kevin dresser and staff got some recruiting done. The staff earned one 2017 commitment from the 51st ranked wrestler in the senior class Mekhi Lewis. Lewis is a 3x nj medal winner and will likely compete for time at 157. That brings the total to 4 commitments for 2017 all in the top 100.
Mitch moore got the ball rolling in the class of 2018 committing to the Hokies. Moore at #12/#17 nationally may be techs most highly ranked recruit since joey dance committed to the Hokies 4 years ago. I expect moore to wrestle at 133 in college.
Kevin dresser continues to raise the bar.

That's not wrasslin'!
Excellent, thanks for the update!
quite welcome
Beyond excited that Wrestling wasn't a 1 or 2 year wonder. Dresser is building something special here and the kids want to be a part of it.
Dresser's always been a great guy. A long, long time ago I was a high school wrestler who competed in the same district as Grundy High when Dresser was in the middle of his tremendous run coaching that squad. Senior year, he invited all the kids from the district who had made it to State to come down to Grundy and prepare with his squad (they all made State). It was fantastic just being in their facility and listening to him. Great guy, great coach.
I love that Is has been taken serious enough to get the right people to make this a successful program. Good stuff.
Yeah we've crossed some major threshholds the past 4 seasons
I don't claim to be a huge wrestling fan/follower (although I love seeing them succeed and reading your updates throughout the year), but I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Blacksburg for the BC game last week, and I saw that coach Zadick was there with what looked to be a HS recruit and his family. It was cool to see him, and I realized that the only reason I recognized him was because of these threads on TKP.
Awesome news on the recruits, btw.
That beard is a beautiful thing
