Through four games, Virginia Tech defensive end Ken Ekanem is off to an extremely productive senior campaign.
VT's Ken Ekanem has generated a QB pressure on 18 of 89 pass rush snaps so far, the best Pass Rush Productivity of any ACC edge defender. pic.twitter.com/5KRsqPwYvf— PFF College Football (@PFF_College) September 26, 2016
Thus far in 2016, Ekanem has 4.5 sacks (28 yards) and 5.5 tackles for loss (29 yards).

... And he would have had a pick six on a screen this week but another DL got his meat hooks on it first to knock it down.
Lmao, didn't fully read what I posted
Mitch Trubisky. You're next! Foster is a professor at putting decoys on defense, to hide the real intent. However, that is something UNC does pretty well with: putting up with the fakes.
Who? Oh you mean the guy who orchestrated this gem:

Hopefully we see some NFL FAINTS soon.
I'd forgotten that he actually played any games for us. :(
Yea, that is him - that same son of a Mitch. So much awesomeness in that play
Dear Mitch Trubisky.....

Another Classic. Wonder if Coach Fu can do the spinning split kick?
He is playing extremely well so far this season. Which is very impressive since he is being double teamed most of the time.
I think the success of the other linemen like Nigel, Ricky and Vinny have helped open up lanes for Ken too
Definitely. I would say that him being double teamed "most of the time" is a huge stretch as well. All 4 guys playing at a high level up front is making a big difference for this defense.
Also helpful is that he appears healthy. He did not appear to be at full strength last year.
Case in point: Nigel Williams had himself a game on Saturday. Holy crap. Even if ECU didn't whiff on blocking Ekanem and 'Maine, pretty sure Williams was gonna either get Summers himself or draw a holding call. Split two OL like they were nothing.
Yeah hard to gauge how well those guy are playing. They dont usually get the great stat lines. Nigel only credited with 2 tkls but was very solid.
He's been a bull, and a pleasure to watch. We will need another big day from our line to give UNC fits.
I have quietly liked Ken for years even when Dadi was getting the attention, Ken was getting the results.
Amazing numbers. The safety Saturday was particularly cool.
And he's a consummate professional. True Hokie.
Ken is a beast. Heard him called the Ekanam-ball by Roth, which I enjoyed.
Watching Dooley on the other side is fun too.
