OT: Chronicles from a HS Football Coach

Hey Guys,
The team that I help coach in NC beat a longtime nemesis on Friday night. It was the 1st time that we've won at their place. One of our Jr. WRs had himself a game. He had some spectacular sideline catches and even scored on a 45 yard strike right before 1/2 time.
He's not a Hokie fan, but when he was a freshman another coach and myself ( both Hokie fans) told him his number would be 19 and his nickname would be Danny Coale. He has embraced Danny's work ethic over the years and has become an integral part of the offense, defense, and special teams. I couldn't not share this with yall. Below is the aforementioned TD catch. Enjoy!

Forgot to mention, but he posted this picture on his instagram account. The caption was "Danny Coale". If I knew how to embed an instagram I would have attempted to put it it the original post.

This all occurred to said team (AM)!!!! And before you ask After MOOK! No such happenings before our AD went and pooped himself....lol. Western Alamance has always played some good ball! Congrats!

Mr. Reynolds,
You're correct. NG had some great teams and Western had to fight tooth and nail just to beat them in OT back in 2010 (when TJ Logan was a sophomore). NG hasn't been the same since Mook left. It's a shame to see them fall off like they have. Thanks for the well wishes! It means a lot coming from you, sir!
