I think it was 15 bucks 2 years ago.....the great thing about it is the ladies can get to a bathroom in 30 seconds! The walk takes about 8 to 10 minutes...not far at all!

My first time going to a UNC game, so I have a few questions if you don't mind.
Do you need a pass for these lots?
What time do they open for tailgating?
When you need to get there to get a spot?
Thanks.

No pass needed....only cold hard CASH...just pay the attendant upon entry.
Noon games..they opened at 8am....and most folks came in about 9am. I would imagine they will still open at 8am, with most folks coming in between 9am and 10am.

I'm considering going to the game because tickets are cheap and it looks like there are plenty available. I'd rather sit with fellow Hokies. Do you know what sections are the visitor sections?

Hey fellow Hokies!!! Traveling up for the game from Jacksonville Florida and to be honest unprepared we had to pack it up really fast this am and get out of town before hurricane Matthew washed us away. It's just me a friend and my son. I was wondering if I could join anyone's tailgate tomorrow we usually throw down and go all out at our tailgates but just didn't have time this time. If there is anyone we can get together hangout with eat some food talk hokie football and throw back a couple beers it would be much appriciated and we promise to return the favor at the um game. Let me know if there is ablnything you needs us to bring and we will gladly pick it up. Thanks!

I have no idea where we will end up tomorrow, Ill get on here and post it once we arrive. But anybody is welcome to join us. Not many going and we aren't doing anything fancy, especially with the forecast. But there will be some food and definitely some brews passed around.

I imagine it'll be tough to get inside a parking deck tomorrow, so if that's off the table, I'm going to try and find a large tree to get under...as soon as I typed that I realized how bad of idea it probably it is.

We don't need anything fancy! Just some good folks to hang with. We literally got a car and clothes lol that's about it. I'll def give you a shout once we get parked we had just planed on parking and walking around some anyways. It is much appriciated. Again if you need me to bring anything let me know and I'll grab it on the way in!

3:30 kick FYI
I'll be there with a couple others
7 of us will be tailgating on the very top of the cardinal deck! Always a great group of Hokies that usually take over that level.
4 of us parking in Craig Deck - not sure of the tailgating situation there, anyone have insight?
I googled Cardinal deck and Dogwood deck came up. Nothing on a Cardinal deck. What am I missing?
From this map, it looks like they're right next to each other. They're the two parking decks south of the stadium. http://move.unc.edu/parking/visitor-parking/
Yup I see it now. Thanks.
What's the charge to park at that deck and about how far if a walk is it from the stadium?
EDIT: Meant as a reply to SShifflett

Plus they don't have to worry about those pesky men-pretending-to-be-women-so-they-can-use-the-closer-bathrooms-instead-of-having-to-walk.
(This is meant in jest, not as a political discussion.)
I will see what we can figure out this week. I'll have the giant flag pole on the back of the Tacoma wherever I am.
First time to UNC for a game, where's the best parking?
I found this UNC parking link pretty helpful.

Any of you road warriors have suggestions for where to find parking for tailgating in Chapel Hill?
Cardinal or Dogwood Deck....both a 8 to 10 minute walk. Plenty of tailgating too!
Awesome! Thanks for the info

I'm trying for the Manning Lot. Any Hokies are welcome to join us. Just look for the Fighting Gobbler Trailer.

Tickets are way up after last night. We snagged some for around $35, today I looked and tickets that were the same price are now $60 or up.
Based on UNC's lack of fan attendance all sections will be visitor sections! But I digress, my group will be in section 109.

while you're at it, why don't you fly an aluminum foil kite with copper wire instead of string?
