ESPN gave a lot of stickers to Defenses this weekend.

I know we mentioned he improved greatly as he matured, as we suspected examining past players in his position.
Here's the text for our good guy.

Virginia Tech LB Andrew Motuapuaka. The Hokies turned in a dominant defensive performance in a 34-3 win at UNC. No one played bigger than Motuapuaka, who had a team-high 12 tackles, including 1.5 TFLs, to go with an interception.

Nice, almost as many tackles as letters on his name...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

He deserves it. Really hung in there with all the criticism last year.
