Week 8 ACC Players of the Week

The Edmunds Brothers and Woody Baron earned ACC Player of the Week honors for their performance against Miami as the Hokies completely swept the weekly defensive awards. Here's to hoping for a dominant win over Pitt at ketchup field!

I'm surprised Sam Rogers didn't get Fullback of the week. How many other fullbacks had two catches for a bunch of yards and completed a TD pass?

RECEIVER – Amba Etta-Tawo, Syracuse, Sr., WR, 6-2, 202, Powder Springs, Ga.
Etta-Tawo became the fastest player in school history to reach 1,000 yards receiving with a 10-catch, 144-yard effort in Syracuse's victory at Boston College. That included a one-handed grab that went for a 68-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to help secure the win. Etta-Tawo is the fourth player in Orange history to post a 1,000-yard receiving season. He has 1,074 yards through eight games and needs 57 more yards to set a new Syracuse single-season record for receiving yardage.
