BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech and Director of Athletics Whit Babcock have agreed in principle to a contract extension for Babcock to serve as athletic director through June 30, 2024.

This is great news. The hiring of Whit was the turning point in the athletic world of Virginia Tech. I can't wait to see what he has planned for the next eight years.
