Holy cow i just realized i hadnt done this yet! my bad guys, if i were a reporter I'd be out of a job.

that moment you realize you forgot the weather report
regardless I'll make this brief and hope most of you haven't made the trip down yet. Lets start with last week, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA GO CRY IN A HOLE NARDUZZI!!!! THE CURSE IS BROKEN AND I HOPE WE CRUSH YOU FOR THE NEXT CENTURY!!!!!!!

Thats a keeper right there
Ahem excuse me, sorry I've been screaming that for the last week or so off of the rooftop of my building here in Madison.
Enough with last week though, I; like I hope our football team is; am now going to switch gears and completely focus in on the upcoming week. (although I sincerely hope the team didn't wait until today to zero in...) The good news is this is quite possibly the easiest forecast of the year. Most of the national weather forecasters agree its going to be freaking gorgeous out. There's a really strong high pressure system blowing in from the midwest area that is going to bring with it some sunshine and happiness to the game.

real pictures of Cubs fans this week
But seriously I am currently whitnessing the high pressure system right now and being on the west side of it I'm enjoying some glorious weather in madison. Its coming your way east coast and enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts because by the end of the month its looking like it may be an entirely different conversation. I expect highs to be somewhere around 68 with a low dipping down to around 50. Clear skies and very light winds (gusts around 5 mph). This might be the best weather we've had since....well since September (If i remember correctly boston college and ecu were pretty nice right?).
How this effects the game you might ask? Well, I've never liked duke, particularly for their basketball team and my recent adoption of a second team up here (seriously people have business cards that simply read F*** DUKE) and their whole "your basketball team isnt good enough to join the ACC" thing.

hows that taste Paulus?
how'd that work out for them? Unfortunately my hatred for their basketball team is just...not fair to the class organization that their spectacular football coach has built up. Its such a shame to me that their students cannot replicate the insanity that is their basketball program for a football coach that has done more with less than probably anyone else i can name in the country.

Seriously the Beamer parallels are strong in this guy, and Duke could not have made a better hire, hes to damn old to want to go anywhere else and is a class act.
]Weather will not be a factor what so ever, no rain before or after so no field slippage, certainly no wind to take the passing game out, this will be a good matchup. I'd really like to see the running game get going but I am more than happy that we have the jump-ball in our back pocket and are willing to take what the defense is giving to us. That is such a refresher from the last few seasons. For as much praise as I have given Cutcliffe I have to give Fuente even more, what he's done with this team in a season has been spectacular to watch. We're fun on offense and still have the tenacity on defense. For that reason I ultimately think no bad weather is a good thing for us, but I'm not ruling out a well coached Cutcliffe team out either, and given our collapse at the dome shaped hell hole I'm not THAT confident yet.
Final Predictions
High 68
Low 49
Wind little to none
Cloud cover little to none
No precip
GO HOKIES!!!!

MAKE DURHAM MAROON!!!

I'm stoked that the weather will be good. Also, it's more or less peak color season in the fall down here. We can hate on Dook all we want but they have a damn pretty campus and I can't wait to walk around under fall colors, drink whiskey, and watch football.
I'll chime in agreement. Dook in roundball is a despicable thang, but the school and their football team is a hoss of a different color. What good at all is a football schedule that doesn't allow fans to appreciate their opponents, their schools, their traditions...with the obvious exceptions...fill in the blanks after loluva. Eventually, Duke will wake up to Coach Cut and his steady leadership, but we'll still enjoy puttin' a whuppin' on 'em.
Ive met several duke football fans in my days and theyre all very realistic, friendly, and loyal people i have no problem with anything duke football related
Just so we know, who is your adopted 2nd team? Is it Whisc-y? Sparty? The Rightful Losers of The Sugar Bowl?
VT First second and third. But if anyone else in the country could be relevant it would definitely be the badgers. Ive been spoiled and loved up here and i cant complain. Madison is a spectacular place and i have zero complaints coming here
We've got an away game coming up in a year or two in Madison. I've been wanting to go to that since they announced it.
Totally do, its a hidden gem and not as cold as everyone complains about aside from the winter
So what you're telling me is that it's only cold... in the winter. You might be turning into the John Madden of weathermen.
Actually, I joke. I know exactly what you mean. When I was a kid my family lived near Chicago. We'd see negative temps in the winter and 90+ in July.
