Not a big fan of the 4:3 aspect ratio, and it felt like they were trying to lose me at the beginning, but I enjoyed the main portion of the video.

On a side note, the maroon pants & jerseys with the orange lids are quickly becoming my favorite combination.

I'm so stoked. Little cousin coming in for the weekend for his 23rd birthday. Taking him to the men's basketball game Friday and his first Lane Stadium experience Saturday. Going to be the tits. Can't wait. Listening to the band play right now at the practice facility (I can hear it from my house). The weekend can't get here soon enough!

Kenny Brooks is a good man and a great coach. He will do well once he gets his recruits rolling. I enjoyed occasionally watching his JMU women's teams.

Heading up tomorrow with the wife. Leaving our son with the grandparents and we can't wait.

I actually got a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Blacksburg (thanks to all of my travel points), which is the first time I've been able to do this during football season. Heading home on Sunday.

I want to say Aug/Sep. I was shocked that there was a room. I didn't even know if I was going to the game, but booked the room just in case.

I'm at the highest level of the Holiday Inn Express program (IHG). Maybe they keep a couple of rooms available for their loyal customers.
