I'm gonna keep this brief as I have unfortunately come down with the flu this week but given that its a monster home game and my fever has finally broken i figured it was time to think football again.
After a gritty win over a pesky Duke team the hokie still have control of their own destiny and have a pretty good shot to make the ACC championship.

The weather outlook is at least looking sunny and nice out, with a really strong high pressure system blowing in over illinois and a trough giving way to a ridge it should lead to a glorious day on saturday. With the skies being as clear as they are however temperatures will drop very quickly as the day progresses. By the end of the night we could be looking at temperatures around or just below freezing so certainly bring a layer or two to the game. Likewise there should be little to no wind, cloud cover or precipitation.

What this means for our game? Hopefully our offense doesn't start slow, the best way to beat paul johnson is to make him play catchup and then step on the gas as hard as you possibly can. If there was a year to pulverize paul johnson this is it, their team is down and another big hit could lose the man his job and would leave to us never having to deal with another shin diving offense again.
We need to prevent them from getting ahead of the sticks on down and defense, weather will absolutely not play a factor. The more I think about it the more I would prefer to play this team later in the season, heat and fatigue will not play a factor and thankfully it wont be too cold to catch the ball (a la duke tyrods freshman year). Ultimately I think we win this game but I think it will be tight, losing all of these guys in the secondary really hurts on such an assignment heavy game..
