It's just not something I think is a reason make fun of a person for. For all we know, Matt Johns may have been sensitive about this growing up. I know I probably would be. Matt Johns has my respect; from what I've seen and read, he's been a good guy and even though he may have thrown a lot of picks, he always did his best to lead his team.
Tough too because this stuff could provide great locker room material against us

it's not about the who or the what. It's all about the how.
Technically speaking there are quite a bit of athletes who are exotropes (one or both eyes turn out) and intermittently are able to have decent fusion and therefore depth perception. While also having an expanded field of vision versus someone who doesn't posses an exo posture. This might actually allow QBs and Bball players to pick up players out of their peripheral vision better.
Okay, I have to admit when I saw the broadcast I said out loud "WTF! Honey, look at this dude!". *chuckles*. However, I wouldn't post it on a public forum with a picture. I find it more funny that Andrew Brown, Blanding and Mizzel went to UVA. That's the real punch line of yesterdays game. I hope the whole game they was looking around at the stands and wishing they were in the other teams uniforms.
I felt kind of bad for Smoke yesterday. That was his last game, in a shitty season. I know he made the choice to go to Uva, he was sold on a dream by London.
But damn, I'd be pissed...so much wasted potential. (Then again, a free ride to a premier university...can't really be TOO mad I suppose)

I know this is referencing one of their players so they may an innocent party. But, aren't we all generally aware of what UVA fans say about Hokie fans? On a relative basis, I'd liken this to saying he has bad breath. An eye for an eye I guess (no pun intended).

It's best not to make fun of people for stuff they have no control over. For example drinking Zima is a choice.
So drinking Zima has the potential of making people go blind.

Making fun of opposing teams is a fine line. You're not the first, nor the worst, example of crossing that line but you did none-the-less. Picking on a personal condition that someone cannot control is not in fun.

Here's the only reason I'm not nuking this thread: it defeats the purpose of community moderation. You guys rightly downvoted a thread that was made in poor taste and that is reflected in the vote totals (and I didn't even weigh in there, so that's all community driven). Deleting the thread resets all the voting and "punishment" goes away.
So instead, I'm closing the thread to comments so it stops popping up.
Moral of the story: Poor taste. Do better.
